Overview
Health at the Population Level
The Public Health programme trains practitioners to identify, prevent and respond to health risks across populations. Students learn to design health education campaigns, monitor environmental hazards and support disease surveillance systems that protect entire communities.
Practical placements with local health authorities and public health agencies give students hands-on experience in disease surveillance, health promotion and policy implementation.

Entry Requirements
- WAEC/NECO with credits in English, Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry
- JAMB UTME is not required for the 3-year Professional track; the 2-year ND track requires a JAMB score of at least 100
- Minimum age of 16 years at time of admission
- Pass an entrance examination and oral interview
