Programme Structure
Paths to Qualification
Most programmes run on an ND/HND track. Community Health and Public Health also offer a faster Professional certification track as an alternative. Medical Laboratory and Pharmacy are standalone 3-year ND programmes.
ND / HND Track
NYSC GuaranteedOrthopaedic Cast, Paramedics, Medical Imaging and Health Information Management are offered exclusively on this track. Community Health and Public Health also offer this track as an alternative to their Professional track.

HND
Total programme duration: 4 Years (ND + HND). The 1-Year Industrial Training (IT) placement is supervised work experience between the ND and HND stages and is not counted toward the published duration.
Entry: JAMB UTME with a minimum score of 100. Applicants without JAMB may apply for our Pre-ND foundation programme, which prepares you to join the ND stage.
Professional Track
3 YearsCommunity Health and Public Health are also offered as professional certification programmes completed in a single continuous 3-year course of study — no ND/HND split, and no JAMB required.

Full Professional Programme
Entry: JAMB UTME is not required — applicants may apply with or without JAMB.
Prefer the ND route instead? Community Health and Public Health applicants may choose the 2-year ND track shown alongside, which requires JAMB UTME with a minimum score of 100.
Medical Laboratory
JAMB RequiredA standalone 3-year National Diploma (ND) programme — no HND stage and no separate Industrial Training year.
Entry: JAMB UTME with a minimum score of 100. Applicants without JAMB may apply for our Pre-ND foundation programme.

FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I apply for more than one programme?
No. Each applicant may apply to only one programme per admission cycle to keep the review process fair and manageable. Choose the programme that best matches your interests before applying.
I don't have a JAMB score — can I still apply for an ND/HND programme?
Yes. While our ND/HND programmes normally require a JAMB UTME score of at least 100, applicants without JAMB may apply for our Pre-ND foundation programme instead. This prepares you academically to join the ND stage. Community Health and Public Health also offer a Professional track that doesn't require JAMB at all, and Pharmacy's ND programme does not require JAMB either.
What happens after I submit my application?
Our Admissions Office reviews your documents and eligibility. Shortlisted applicants are invited to sit the entrance examination and attend a brief oral interview before final offers are made.
Can I change my programme after applying?
Programme changes may be considered before the application deadline, subject to eligibility for the new programme. Contact the Admissions Office as early as possible if you wish to switch.
Do you accept transfer students?
Transfer applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may require credit evaluation from your previous institution. Reach out to the Admissions Office for guidance before applying.
How do I check my application status?
Applicants receive updates by email and SMS at each stage of the process. If you haven't heard back within the expected timeframe, contact the Admissions Office with your application reference.
